Sierra Watercolor Series

The watercolor series will take place on Zoom. All attendees will be emailed the log-in details for their session(s) immediately after purchase. Please make sure to save this email so that you have the login link on the day of your watercolor session. If you do not receive the Zoom log-in information for your session(s), or if you have any questions please email Sara Monson at sara.monson@sierranevadaalliance.org.


 

This will be a series of three 90 minute classes once a week. Participants can either sign up for one class or the series of three classes. We will be using a live stream format (Zoom) we will be sketching and painting on 140lb watercolor paper for a beautiful finish. This class is recommended for anyone 7 years of age or older.

Paintings will include:

May 31 4:00-5:30- Wild Flowers

June 7th 4:00-5:30- Western Tanager

June 14th 4:00-5:30- Mount Tallac Landscape

The Class will be taught by Gina Stowell.

Please make sure you have the following supplies prior to the start date: watercolor pad, watercolor set, water color pencils, brushes, kneaded eraser (you will need to purchase these materials on our own).

Watercolor paper

Travel watercolor paint set (more expensive) but great for a field journaling $22.

I can also recommend a more inexpensive Prang watercolor paint, about $7.each.
